Family services

Resolving family crises and rifts, at their root.

When deep-seated family rifts occur, specialised external assistance can help identify the true underlying causes — rarely the behaviour on the surface.

A systemic perspective

Is your family navigating —

  • Estrangement from one or more family members
  • Sibling rivalry, hostility or deep-seated friction
  • Adoption, fostering, surrogacy or IVF
  • The impact of divorce or marital breakdown
  • Life after loss, death and complex grief
  • The strain of long-term illness within the family
  • Drug and alcohol dependency
  • Legal issues causing severe family stress
  • Pressures of public life, media coverage or politics

Most conventional therapy focuses on behaviour and communication skills as the root cause of conflict. While communication matters, behaviour is rarely the fundamental source of family rifts and ongoing in-fighting.

With over 25 years of experience in Systemic Family Constellations, Shavasti has found that the visible issue presented by family members is rarely the true core problem. The underlying cause frequently originates years, decades or even generations earlier within the family lineage.

Through Family Services we explore both the spoken and unspoken dynamics of your family history in complete confidence — grounded in more than 500 family systems workshops, over 8,000 private sessions and two authoritative books on ancestral and systemic healing.

This approach is markedly different from traditional family counselling. It is designed to uncover the deeper, systemic roots of conflict within an environment of profound respect and discretion.
